Hotel & Casino Tower Guide
Rooms and Suites at River Rock Casino Resort
When we checked the room inventory at River Rock Casino Resort, we noted a clear split between the two main structures on site. The guest accommodation is divided between the Hotel Tower and the Casino Tower, connected by an elevated Sky Bridge. Understanding which tower houses standard bedrooms versus full suites makes choosing your stay straightforward.

Understanding the Two Towers and Room Count
River Rock Casino Resort operates two distinct accommodation buildings at 8811 River Road: the Hotel Tower and the Casino Tower. These structures are linked by an enclosed Sky Bridge that allows guests to move between accommodation, dining, and the gaming floor without stepping outside.
Third-party travel sites and media listings frequently reference a figure of 396 rooms for the property. However, the resort’s official stay pages use the broader phrase "nearly 400 rooms" and do not publish a precise total on their current site. When planning your layout, it helps to know that room types are grouped strictly by tower. The Hotel Tower holds traditional single-room layouts, whereas the Casino Tower consists entirely of multi-room suites.
All hotel stays require guest check-in by an adult aged 19 or older with valid government photo ID and a matching credit card. In British Columbia, entry to the casino floor itself is restricted to adults aged 19 and over with mandatory ID verification at the door. If you are travelling with family, hotel access to rooms and the pool with the slide does not require passing through the gaming area.
Hotel Tower: Standard Rooms and Accessibility
The Hotel Tower contains the resort's standard guest rooms, each providing 325 square feet of floor space. These rooms suit short visits, business trips, or travellers making a quick stop near Vancouver International Airport. You can review broader transit connections on our Canada Line guide.
Three room configurations are published for the Hotel Tower:
- 1 King Bedroom: 325 sq ft, sleeps up to 2 guests with one king bed.
- 2 Queen Bedroom: 325 sq ft, sleeps up to 2 guests with two queen beds.
- 1 King Accessible: 325 sq ft, sleeps up to 2 guests with one king bed and accessible room fixtures.
The 1 King Accessible layout is the single designated accessible room category published by the resort. Guests requiring specific mobility features should request this category directly when submitting their reservation inquiry.
Casino Tower: Suites, Executive Floors, and Penthouses
